They seem like a band that probably has a better recorded sound. I would definitely give PVT a second chance though, I don’t wish to imply that they had not any merit. PVT seemed to have taken all of the simple uninteresting parts of that old style and crafted their current boring “masterpiece?“ Needless to say, I did what I normally would not do, I went to the patio and waited for Warpaint. Don't get me wrong, Cabaret Voltaire were a pretty decent band but some of it could get monotonous or boring. Beside that when it first started all I could think of was my old Cabaret Voltaire cassettes that used to litter the floor of my Geo. They get good reviews, but I just couldn't get into it. I hate to say it but, I could have missed PVT and not felt bad about it. I enjoyed Family Band quite a bit, although I arrived late and missed part of their set. The opening acts were Family Band and PVT.
